Why do you steal stuff?
Let me just put something straight here. I thought it was pretty obvious but out there are people who seem to think that I want to imply that all the stuff I put here is created by me.
It is. Every single picture. I am creating every image and every meme of the internet by myself and this is my private tumblr blog.
I publish 31 pictures a day. Its not even hard.
Here are some sites who are reposting my stuff.
But really now. Why you no link to the original artist?
Okay. There is a long answer, and a short one. Just because I am a kind and considerate bastard, I’ll give you the short one first: I am lazy.
Here is the long answer, also known as “what is so hard about entering the fucking source?”.
In most cases (and with most, I mean 99,78%) I am just introducing selected stuff I think you guys might find to be funny or interesting or shocking (hehe) from the above mentioned pages. I have a script written in php and a firefox addon that aids me doing that by collecting and presenting me pictures from those homepages but it still comes down to the following:
Ordinarily my goal is to post 31 pictures a day. That is 217 pictures (or gifs) a week. Even on sundays and holidays etc. On average, I have to sift through about 10 pictures, before I find one that is worthy of posting here. So I look at and judge 310 pictures a day.
So if I set aside only one hour of my day to look at pictures (have in mind that I don’t get paid for this) I’ll have 11,6 seconds per picture to decide about and post it. GIFs usually take much longer because I have to make them small enough for tumblr (1 MB is the limit).
I don’t want to take the additional time to sift through all kinds of comments. If there is a source address or name on a picture I won’t remove that either.
If you are an artist or creator of one of the images I posted, let me know and I will add links to the source as soon as I can.
